Hi there... it's so nice to meet you!

All of my life, I have always been an artist and a visual translator. Throughout the last 20+ years, my career has spanned from photographer to newsroom staff illustrator...to writer to videographer...to graphic designer to creative director to marketing director and painter...and I've pretty much done it all and then some and I am an artist to my core. 

I'm a proud graduate of Meredith College in Raleigh, NC with a BA in Graphic Design and Photography with Minors in Creative Writing and Presentation Media. I am very passionate about branding, strategy, illustration, design and most of all...photography!

My main influences include nature, all things wild and free, all of the many love stories from my clients and my ever growing playlists. YES - I have a huge love for music!

When you hire me to capture either yourself, your family, you and your sweetheart at your wedding day or your child's first milestones...know that I truly love to capture photos that tell a story and are seen from a different perspective. Photography is truly a way of art, and where I started out many years in a darkroom developing my own images BEFORE film was a cool thing...I fell in love with the magic that happens when you freeze a moment and later look at it and see what you have created in that instance.
